Rooibos tea, also known as red tea or red bush tea, is a naturally caffeine-free herbal tea made from the leaves of the Aspalathus linearis plant, native to South Africa. The leaves are typically fermented, giving them their rich reddish-brown colour and a sweet, slightly nutty flavour with hints of vanilla and honey. Rooibos is enjoyed both on its own or in blends with fruits, spices, or herbs.
