Our Green Tea & Ginger blend brings together the smooth, vegetal notes of premium green tea and the warming, zesty kick of fresh ginger, creating a cup that is both invigorating and refreshing.

The green tea offers a light, grassy flavour with a subtle sweetness, serving as the perfect base to highlight the sharp, peppery heat of ginger. This blend delivers a well-balanced, slightly spicy brew that tantalises the taste buds with its contrast of fresh green tea and aromatic ginger warmth.

As you sip, the ginger’s bold and fiery notes gradually build, offering a pleasant warmth that lingers gently on the palate. Its natural spiciness is mellowed by the smoothness of the green tea, creating a harmonious combination that’s both uplifting and soothing. The green tea’s crisp, clean finish complements the ginger's lingering warmth, making each sip refreshing and satisfying.

In addition to its dynamic flavour profile, this blend offers a host of health benefits. Green tea, rich in antioxidants, supports overall wellness, while ginger contributes to digestive health and offers a natural energy boost. Together, they form a blend that’s as nourishing as it is delicious, perfect for moments when you need a revitalising pick-me-up or a soothing, warm beverage.

Ideal for any time of day, our Green Tea & Ginger blend is versatile enough to enjoy as an energising morning drink or a calming evening tea. Its bold yet balanced flavour makes it a standout choice for those who enjoy the complexity of green tea with a spicy twist.

About Green Tea & Ginger

Green Tea & Ginger is a popular blend that combines the freshness of green tea with the warmth and spiciness of ginger, along with a touch of citrusy lemongrass

China is one of the largest producers of green tea globally. The green tea used in this blend provides a smooth and slightly vegetal base.

Ginger adds a warm and spicy note to the blend. Known for its invigorating and slightly pungent flavour, ginger provides a pleasant contrast to the green tea's freshness. It also imparts a soothing quality.

Lemongrass contributes a citrusy and herbal element to the blend. It adds brightness and a lemony aroma that complements the green tea and ginger. Lemongrass can offer a refreshing and uplifting quality to the overall flavour.

The combination of green tea, ginger, and lemongrass creates a harmonious blend with a layered flavour profile:

  • The green tea may bring a slightly grassy or vegetal note.
  • Ginger provides warmth, spiciness, and a hint of sweetness.
  • Lemongrass adds citrusy and herbal undertones.

The aroma is invigorating, with the fresh and grassy scent of green tea complemented by the warm and spicy notes of ginger and the citrusy fragrance of lemongrass.

Green tea is known for its antioxidant properties, and ginger is often associated with potential digestive benefits. The blend may offer a combination of these health-promoting elements.

This blend can be enjoyed hot or iced, and it's often served plain. However, you can customize it by adding sweeteners like honey or a splash of citrus juice.

Green tea contains caffeine, but the overall caffeine level in the blend will depend on the ratio of green tea to other ingredients. Generally, it's lower in caffeine compared to black tea.
